This FREE day-long workshop will introduce participants to the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA). Participants will leave with a better understanding of what DPLA is, how to use it as a resource, and about Florida’s involvement with DPLA through the new Sunshine State Digital Network (SSDN). Learn more about how to get involved and how to prepare your metadata for inclusion. We welcome anyone in the Florida library, cultural heritage, and museum community to attend. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The first 25 registrants who attend* will receive a $150 honorarium thanks to a generous grant from the Knight Foundation.
